A bankruptcy of conscience

What strikes me as amazing, and perhaps it shouldn't given the events of the past few years, are stories such as the one I have posted that show the sheer callousness of the American heart. This particular story is about health care or perhaps lack thereof.

ER & 911 operators did nothing to help dying woman

This is one of those stories that is hard to watch and even harder to believe. One thing is certain - the level of human indifference and lack of compassion in our health care system and perhaps our country as a whole leaves me speechless when you see people act like this.
